Terms of Service

By installing the TypoIQ Chrome extension or using typoiq.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please uninstall the extension and stop using the service.

TypoIQ provides AI-assisted writing correction, grammar checking, tone adjustment, and text rewriting. The service is provided “as is” — AI suggestions may contain errors and should not substitute professional proofreading in high-stakes contexts.

You agree not to:

• Use TypoIQ to process or generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content.
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute TypoIQ software.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law.

TypoIQ offers a free tier with limited corrections per day and a Pro subscription with unlimited access. Plan limits and pricing are described at typoiq.com/#pricing and may change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew and can be cancelled at any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a 7-day refund on first-time Pro subscriptions if the service does not meet your expectations. Contact hello@typoiq.com to request a refund.

TypoIQ and its logo are trademarks of TypoIQ. The extension source code is proprietary. Your own text remains yours — we claim no rights over text you process through the service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT AI CORRECTIONS ARE ACCURATE, ERROR-FREE, OR FIT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TYPOIQ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms, with or without notice. You may stop using the service at any time.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
